What are CSV / OFX Files?
CSV (Comma-Separated Values) and OFX (Open Financial Exchange) are standard file formats for financial data. Download your transactions in these formats to import them into any financial software, spreadsheet, or accounting tool of your choice.How to Set Up

Add a file export destination in Lunch Flow:
- Go to the Destinations page in Lunch Flow
- Click Add Destination
- Select CSV / OFX Export
- Give your export configuration a name (e.g., βMonthly Exportβ)
- Click Add Destination

Configure which accounts to export:
- Select accounts: Choose which bank accounts to include in your export
- Set preferences: Configure your export settings
- Click Save

Download your transactions:
- Go back to the Destinations page
- Find your file export destination
- Click the download button to get your transactions in CSV or OFX format
File Formats
CSV (Comma-Separated Values)
Best for: Excel, Google Sheets, custom tools, and data analysis Includes:- Transaction date
- Amount
- Description/Merchant
- Account name
- Currency
- Balance
- Transaction type
OFX (Open Financial Exchange)
Best for: Quicken, QuickBooks, and other accounting software Includes:- Standard OFX format compatible with most financial software
- Account information and metadata
- Transaction details in structured format
Importing to Other Software
Excel / Google Sheets
- Download the CSV file from your Lunch Flow file destination
- Open Excel or upload to Google Sheets
- The data will automatically populate in columns
- Use for budgeting, analysis, or custom tracking
Quicken / QuickBooks / Accounting Software
- Download the OFX file from your Lunch Flow file destination
- Open your accounting software
- Look for File β Import β Import OFX or similar
- Select the downloaded file and follow the import wizard
Other Software
