Skip to main contentLearn how to renew existing connections while maintaining your configurations in case your existing connection has expired or is experiencing errors when syncing.
Overview
After initially connecting your bank account, the connection may expire after a certain period of time (varies based on the connection provider), or you may run into issues that require re-creating the connection.
If you were to simply delete and re-create the connection, this would remove all your account and destination configurations. So we offer the ‘renewal’ flow that attempts to map all accounts from the new connection to the old ones so you can maintain all your configurations.
To start that flow, simply head over to the connections page and click the ‘reconnect’ button on the connection you’d like to renew, then follow the prompts to reconnect (which would look quite similar to the initial connection flow).
Once you’re done, you’ll be redirected back to Lunch Flow. If Lunch Flow is able to match up all accounts from the new connection, then you’ll simply see your connection marked as ‘active’ again. If not, you’ll see a screen where you can manually map accounts from the new connection to the old ones.
