You can see some transactions in your banking app, but not in your configured destination, let’s figure out why. The flow of data is as follows:
  1. Our open banking providers request data from the bank.
  2. Lunch Flow requests data from our open banking providers.
  3. Lunch Flow pushes the data to your configured destination.
Let’s examine each step and figure out where the transactions are missing.

Does Lunch Flow have access to these transactions?

To check which transactions Lunch Flow has access to from the open banking provider, head over to the connections page, select your account, and go to the ‘transactions’ tab. Here, you’ll see all confirmed transactions that Lunch Flow has access to. Here are a couple of key things to check:
  • Is the connection ‘Active’?
    • If it’s not active, then feel free to resolve the error (typically through reconnecting).
  • Are the missing transactions confirmed?
    • Lunch Flow only shows and syncs confirmed transactions at the moment, so if a transaction is pending, we’d not show it. You can confirm whether a transaction is pending from the bank’s website or app.
    • If you’re interested in pending transactions, feel free to upvote this feature request: Support Pending Transactions.
If you still can’t see the transactions, feel free to reach out to us via chat or email, and I’m more than happy to take a look 😀

If Lunch Flow has access, but the transactions are not pushed to the destination

This can happen if:
  • The destination is configured to sync balances only.
  • There was an issue with the sync.
In both cases, feel free to reach out to us via chat or email with the details of the account and destination, and I’m happy to investigate!
